Dr. Wajid Burad Fonz earned his Medical Degree from the Universidad del Mayab, Mérida (1998–2003), completing a three-year Sports Medicine Residency at UADY (2005–2008) — graduating with the highest GPA of his class — and later an Advanced Fellowship in Diagnostic and Interventional Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at CUMDA/UADY (2020).
His clinic, Olympia Medicina Integral del Deporte, has been active in Cancún since 2008, treating elite athletes and complex musculoskeletal conditions. As official team physician he has served three-time champion professional teams.
As ISSCA faculty and an international clinical instructor, Dr. Burad integrates prolotherapy, orthobiologics, and musculoskeletal ultrasound into regenerative-medicine protocols — teaching physicians worldwide precision, ultrasound-guided cellular therapies for joint, tendon, and soft-tissue conditions.
