The International Society for Stem Cell Application (ISSCA) announces its upcoming Peptide Therapy Certification in Mexico City, taking place on February 12–13, 2027, as part of its ISSCA Peptide Therapy Mastery program.
This two-day, in-person certification brings together physicians and experienced instructors for an educational experience focused entirely on peptide therapy, clinical applications, and protocol development.
Led by Dr. Greg Jones, Dr. Jason Pencek, and co-instructor Dr. Andrea Lapeire, the program offers an opportunity to explore peptide therapy in greater depth through structured academic sessions, clinical case discussions, and direct interaction with the faculty.
Mexico City will be the first destination in ISSCA’s planned 2027 Peptide Therapy Mastery circuit, which also includes Lima, Bogotá, and Madrid.
What Is ISSCA Peptide Therapy Mastery?
ISSCA Peptide Therapy Mastery is a two-day educational experience developed for licensed physicians who want to deepen their understanding of peptide therapy and its clinical applications.
The program follows the academic syllabus of The Peptide Book, covering the same foundational and advanced subjects included in ISSCA’s Advanced Peptide Therapy Certification at its international congresses.
By distributing the curriculum across two full days, Peptide Therapy Mastery provides additional time for clinical case discussions, protocol design, questions, and direct interaction with the instructors.
Participants who successfully complete the program receive the ISSCA Advanced Peptide Therapy Certification, the same certificate awarded through ISSCA’s congress-based certification format.
Learn From ISSCA’s Peptide Therapy Faculty
The Mexico City certification will feature three instructors with complementary roles in the educational program.
Dr. Greg Jones, ABAAPH — Main Instructor
As a main instructor, Dr. Greg Jones will lead the certification alongside Dr. Jason Pencek, guiding physicians through the academic foundations and clinical considerations of peptide therapy.

Dr. Jason Pencek — Main Instructor
Throughout the two-day program, Dr. Jason Pencek will address peptide-related mechanisms, clinical applications, protocol considerations, and case-based learning.

Dr. Andrea Lapeire — Co-Instructor
Joining the faculty as co-instructor, Dr. Andrea Lapeire will support the educational experience and contribute to clinical discussions throughout the certification.
The two-day format allows physicians to spend more time engaging with the faculty, discussing real clinical scenarios, and exploring the practical considerations involved in peptide therapy.

What Will Physicians Learn During the Two-Day Certification?
The curriculum is organized around the chapters of The Peptide Book, connecting scientific foundations with clinical decision-making and protocol development.
The first day establishes the scientific and physiological foundations of peptide therapy.
Topics include:
- Fundamentals of terrain preparation.
- Peptide mechanisms of action, cellular signaling, and physiology.
- Immunological and anti-inflammatory peptides.
- Peptide applications related to intestinal health, mucosal integrity, microbiota, and the gut–immune axis.
- Neuroendocrine peptides, hormonal modulation, and the HPA axis.
- Metabolic and weight-management peptides, including considerations related to body composition and glycemic regulation.
- Clinical case discussions and questions with the faculty.
The day concludes with an opportunity to connect the academic material to clinical scenarios through case-based discussion.
The second day focuses on translating scientific knowledge into structured clinical reasoning.
Topics include:
- Peptides related to sexual and reproductive health.
- Regenerative and reparative peptides, including musculoskeletal tissue, skin, and cellular recovery.
- Neuromodulatory peptides and considerations related to cognition, stress, and neurological health.
- Protocol design, including dosing logic, stacking, cycling, and patient monitoring.
- Group review of clinical cases.
- Assessment and certification ceremony.
Throughout the program, physicians will explore how clinical considerations, individual patient characteristics, and monitoring can inform responsible protocol development.
The proposed distribution of topics between both days is subject to final validation by ISSCA’s Academic Direction and faculty.
ISSCA Expands Regenerative Medicine Education into Central Asia
A Clinical Learning Experience Built Around The Peptide Book
One of the defining features of ISSCA Peptide Therapy Mastery is its strong academic foundation. Specifically, the curriculum follows The Peptide Book chapter by chapter, allowing participants to use it throughout the certification. Furthermore, physicians can continue referring to the book as an educational resource in their clinical practice.
The program emphasizes four core elements: academic depth, clinical case analysis, access to experienced faculty, and a structured methodology for understanding peptide therapy protocols.
With additional time dedicated to dosing considerations, protocol design, and case reviews, physicians can engage with the material at a more deliberate pace.
Peptide Therapy Mastery and ISSCA Congress Certifications
ISSCA offers different educational formats to support physicians at various stages of their professional development.
At an ISSCA international congress, physicians can combine peptide therapy certification with a broader educational experience covering mesenchymal stem cells, exosomes, NK cells, and other areas of regenerative medicine.
In addition, the congress offers professional networking opportunities and activities that connect physicians from different medical specialties. Meanwhile, Peptide Therapy Mastery provides a dedicated two-day experience focused exclusively on peptide therapy.
Although the formats differ, both follow the same academic syllabus and award the ISSCA Advanced Peptide Therapy Certification.
Therefore, physicians can choose the educational experience that best aligns with their learning goals, whether they want to deepen their knowledge of peptide therapy or explore a broader range of regenerative medicine topics.

What Is Included in the Mexico City Certification?
Registration includes:
- Two full days of in-person certification.
- Educational sessions with ISSCA faculty.
- A copy of The Peptide Book.
- Lunch on both days.
- Coffee breaks.
- ISSCA Advanced Peptide Therapy Certification upon successful completion.
Simultaneous interpretation is planned for the educational sessions.

Peptide Therapy Mastery in Mexico City opens the circuit
The February 12–13 certification marks the beginning of ISSCA’s planned Peptide Therapy Mastery circuit for 2027.
Following Mexico City, the initiative is expected to continue in Lima, Bogotá, and Madrid. Through this international expansion, ISSCA aims to provide more opportunities for physicians to advance their education in peptide therapy.
Each destination will be part of ISSCA’s ongoing commitment to providing structured medical education, faculty interaction, and clinical learning opportunities for physicians.
