The University of Buenos Aires–endorsed congress seated more than 25 physicians on stage across two days and introduced ISSCA Panels, a live faculty debate format, confirming Buenos Aires as one of the most global and most academic gatherings in regenerative medicine.
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — July 15, 2026 — The International Society for Stem Cell Application (ISSCA) closed ISSCA 124 at the Hilton Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero) on July 10–11, 2026, a two-day congress that drew a physician audience from more than 30 countries and placed over 25 physicians on stage. Endorsed by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), the congress delivered the Advanced Certification in Regenerative Medicine and the Advanced Certification in Peptides within a recognized academic framework.
A congress with a 30+ country convocation
ISSCA 124 assembled faculty and attending physicians from across the Americas, Europe, and beyond — the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Bolivia, Portugal, and more than two dozen other nations. The international reach reflects what ISSCA has built over 16 years: an institution that runs the most regenerative medicine congresses in the world, with more than 10,000 physicians certified across 30+ countries since 2010.
More than 25 physicians on stage
Across the two days, ISSCA 124 seated more than 25 physicians on stage — a faculty of international specialists leading theory sessions, live hands-on clinical practice, and open debate. The scale of the podium is itself the point: physicians who certify with ISSCA learn from the specialists who set the protocols, not from a single instructor.
ISSCA Panels — a new live debate format
Buenos Aires introduced ISSCA Panels, a format that seats the assembled faculty together to debate clinical questions live before the audience. Rather than sequential lectures, ISSCA Panels put the field’s specialists in direct exchange — comparing approaches to cells, exosomes, and peptides in real time, in front of the physicians who will apply them. The edition also featured a live recording of Dr. Greg Jones’s podcast from the congress floor.
The full ISSCA congress experience
ISSCA 124 carried the elements that define an ISSCA congress: MedConnect medical networking among attending physicians, a Speakers’ Dinner, a live Q&A panel, and access to ISSCA AI and the ISSCA App. The result was a complete two-day event — scientific program, certification, debate, and community in one venue.
Quote
“Buenos Aires is exactly the standard we set out to build: physicians from more than 30 countries in one room, more than 25 of our faculty on the same stage, and a University of Buenos Aires endorsement behind every session. ISSCA Panels let that faculty debate openly, which is how serious clinical education should look. This is the most global and most academic congress in regenerative medicine, and it is where the best physicians choose to certify.” — Benito Novas, Founder, ISSCA
Where ISSCA goes next in 2026
